Booking classes, private lessons and courses in person and live online

Bookings

Weekly class payments are made at the beginning of every month by standing order. Your place in a class or course is confirmed only on receipt of the full balance paid at the time of booking, and at least 24 hours in advance, or at my discretion. Payment for a single, or block of private lessons or coaching is required 24 hours in advance, or can be paid on the day, at may discretion. A non-refundable deposit is required to book a course, and the deposit for a course will vary depending on which course is being booked (see course program for details). A place on a course is confirmed when a deposit has been paid and you have received a confirmation from me.

Cancellation Fees

Private yoga and coaching bookings - are non- refundable, and 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule; if a time slot is available. This allows me to offer the time to another client.

Missed, or cancelled classes - All monthly class payments are non-refundable, and non-transferable to another course or person, but may be rescheduled at my discretion, within 30 days, if a suitable alternative class has space. This is a catch up system designed to help you maintain regular weekly practice, for pre arranged important appointments and obligations, and not for unexpected last minute circumstances.

If you need to cancel your booking before it starts I will endeavour to find a replacement to fill your place and if a replacement is found I will issue a refund of your payment (minus a reasonable administration fee). Alternatively, I will offer to hold your payment (with no administration fee) as credit towards another month of classes, workshop or course.

Health and safety in person and live online

Your health and safety - is your responsibility, please participate in a careful manner, respecting the body’s limitations and working within these limits, to avoid discomfort and therefore injury. I accept no responsibility for any injury arising from failure to follow instructions, or due to non-disclosure of medical conditions (physical or mental), injury or physical impairment.

Mental Health - whilst there is substantial evidence that yoga and meditation can be of great benefit in calming the mind and emotions, I do not treat serious mental health issues. If you have mental health issues you accept that you are solely responsible for your health & well-being in this regard whilst working with me. At the time of booking you will be asked to give more details relating to any conditions and of any medications that you may be taking/prescribed.

I reserves the right to refuse an application to join a class, course, or private lesson if I feel that it may be detrimental to both yourself and other course participants. I also reserve the right to ask a participant to leave at any time if it becomes clear that their condition is being exacerbated by being present or if their behaviour is having an adverse effect on others taking part on the course.

Cancellation Fees & Refund Policy

All payments made for online events are non-refundable, as such, any cancellation made by you will result in the loss of any monies paid. Cancellations can be made via phone, or email.

If you need to cancel your booking I will endeavour to find a replacement to fill your place and if a replacement is found I will issue a refund of your payment (minus a reasonable administration fee). Alternatively, I will offer to hold your payment (with no administration fee) as credit towards another workshop or course.

At my discretion, I may waive this policy in exceptional circumstances. Details and reasons must be given at the time of cancellation, and these will then be given due consideration.

In the event I have to cancel the online course I will refund any monies that have been paid.

Health – Physical & Mental

By taking part in classes and courses you accept responsibility for your own health and safety. Please ensure that you are fit and well enough to take part in yoga practice. If necessary, you should obtain medical advice before undertaking any yoga practice including asana (physical postures), meditation, pranayama, Yoga Nidra etc.

As part of the booking process I have asked that you make me aware of any circumstances affecting your mental or physical health which may be exacerbated by the practices offered in your chosen class or course. I accept no responsibility for any injury arising from failure to follow instructions or due to non-disclosure of medical conditions (physical or mental), injury or physical impairment.

Obtain specialist or professional advice from your doctor before participating if you are in any doubt, as I am not qualified to express an opinion that you are fit to safely participate in any sessions.

I reserves the right to refuse any person on to an online class or course if, in its absolute discretion, it considers that the mental or physical health of the individual concerned may be endangered by taking part in said class, workshop or course.

By joining one of my online classes, workshops or courses you automatically accept full responsibility for your own safety. Furthermore you acknowledge that in the absence of me physically present to advise you, it is your duty to take full responsibility to ensure that you stay within your physical limits and that your surroundings are suitable and safe for the practice of Yoga and meditation.
